What's the secret to the good life? Money, success, status, and prestige? Or is it really all about a cold shower after a full day of yard work, then sitting down on the porch with a frosty beer. I'll take the latter choice. To pack even more life into a single day, wake up at 5am, with the sun, and get started early. No matter your project, or your day job, a head start on the rest of the pack, all day long, will bring its own rewards. I've found that's the only secret to my own version of a good life. Getting up early and working hard, no matter how often––and how loudly––I bitch. It's one thing to talk about the good life, and another to make it happen. As they say, happiness is hard work.
Sleeping in is a waste of daylight. Do what you love––go fishing.
