Humans feel more relaxed when looking at water. Makes sense to me.
Sometimes the fish get you out there bright and early, and sometimes it's just being out on the water itself. That's often enough to get me out of bed.
I'm just happy to get out there.
Watch the waves. Listen to the birds. Smell the wind. Just don't think about work. At least not yet. There's plenty of time for that once your feet hit dry land.
For now, just relax and get out there.
Sleeping in is a waste of daylight. Do what you love––go fishing.
