Everyone I talk to about fishing, who doesn't fish, comes to it with the impression that fishing is about the relaxation and the easy life. Sometimes, but mostly it's about all of the work that has to happen for a tiny bit of success. If it was easy, I wouldn't do it. I'd be bored. The only way to break the puzzle of what the fish want is to put in the time, do the work, solve the puzzle, and reap the benefits. We're not lucky, we just get a return on our investments.
Sleeping in is a waste of daylight. Do what you love––go fishing.
