Do you think every cast that doesn't end with holding a fish is a failure? Technically, maybe. Or maybe each one is a separate experiment. Every time your lure passes a fish without triggering a strike they're telling you to change lures. It might be your lure type, the color, depth, speed, or maybe they just don't like you. Maybe it's personal. The next time you flip your bail open, think about all the variables. What experiment are you going to run next?
