What kind of fish is it? Sometimes you're fishing in an area with a few target species. You hope for one, but you'll really take whatever takes your bait. The first sign is a little color coming up from beneath the surface of the water. Then you may catch a glimpse of the marking on its side, or it could jump up out of the water and give you the full spectacle, the fish out of the water and shining in the sun. What a show off. Some fish are like that. Others like to fight it out to the bitter end. They battle and battle, taking line all the way to your reel seat, until you almost give up. Can you hear them taunting you right now from the tall grass in the shallows? Come and see.
Sleeping in is a waste of daylight. Do what you love––go fishing.
