I know it seems like a daily newsletter giving you an excuse to fish every day shouldn't admit you can't fish every day, but it's a fact.
Even if you practically fish every day, there are times when weather, family, work, or lack of gas money keeps you from hitting the river.
For me, that's right now. Icebergs are floating down the river by my house. I'm stuck between looking for a tailwater and waiting for the ice to firm up.
If you find your winter spot, make the pilgrimage as often as you can.
Sleeping in is a waste of daylight. Do what you love––go fishing.
This blog post was originally sent as part of my new daily newsletter series, An Excuse to Fish.
